Mitzi Rothman, a native of Atlanta, Georgia . . .
Studied Art at the University of Georgia and Georgia State University. Earned a BFA from Georgia State University with a concentration in Art History and Interior Design.

Asked to donate a portrait of Chumba & Kudzu, local, well-known Gorillas at Zoo Atlanta for Zoo Atlanta’s Beastly Feast; participated in the Artists Market at Atlanta’s Inman Park Festival; invited to show many years at the Virginia-Highland SummerFest.
Selected to exhibit artwork at the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine Library’s 12th Annual International Exhibition on Animals in Art, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 1999 and 2001, Honorable Mention; and to at the 2001 Art Show at the Dog Show in Wichita, Kansas, 3rd Place, pastels. Portrait: "The Bloodhounds" chosen to be on the front cover of the 2001 LSU School of Veterinary Medicine’s Catalog.
Had a desktop publishing business, and does the occasional interior. Did illustrations for a small greeting card company. Has two grown daughters and lives with a black Standard Poodle named Zorro.
